A study of Psychlogical and Psycho–social Factors Effecting Conceptual Process of Master of Arts in Buddhist Psychololgy Students’ Instructions in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyala University, Amphar Wangnoi, Pranakornsriayuttaya Province

Abstract

 

Research has two adjectives to study effect of psychological and psycho-social factors perception instruction of M.A. students’ in  Department of Buddhist Psychology, MCU.  Wangnoi, Ayadhya Province to compane difference between two factors. To Collect the data the questionnaires to 50 Second year, Third year. M.A. students’ in M.A.program (Buddhist Psychology) in Faculty of Humanities. frequency, percentage, means, standard bias, hypothesis test using the value of statistic F-test and the value of Pearson product moment correlation coefficient were applied for data analysis

              The result of study was found that most of the sampled group were monks of 31-40 years old, studying in M.A.program (Buddhist Psychology) at the second class, the family’s average incomes of 5,100-10,000 baht a month, mostly in the past, having various coercers like: student and personal career. The sampled group had Self confidence and motivation for achievement and Future Orientation at much level. The relation was found that this sampled group had the relationship with their friends, family members and the teachers at a much level, too. The result of adjustment in learning  the curriculum of Buddhist Psychology was found that the sampled group had the opinion in the integrative image about the curriculum of Buddhist Psychology at a much level from the point of the sampled group having the curriculum and organizing instruction, and later on organizing activities, using a media of teaching. Besides, the teachers gave a guidance inside and outside the classroom they came to teach the class at the right time and the measurement and evaluation of instruction in order. The assumption test was found that personal factors had no relation to a conceptual process of students’ instruction in the curriculum of Buddhist Psychology of M.A. students in Buddhist Psychology, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Wongnoi District, Phranakhonsriayutthaya Province as follows

              1. Self confidence had a relation with a conceptual process of students’ instruction in teaching management

              2. Motivation for achievement had a relation with a conceptual process of students’ instruction about curriculum, teaching management, using a teaching media, measurement and evaluation and in an overview.

              3. Future Orientation had a relation with a perception of students’ instruction in every aspect like: curriculum, teaching management, organizing activities, using the teaching media, a measurement and evaluation and in total aspects

              4. The relationship with friends had a relation with a conceptual process of students on instruction about curriculum, teaching management, organizing activities, using the teaching media and in total aspect

              5. The relationship with the family had a relation with a perception process of students’ instruction in a cuspec ofrriculum, teaching management and in an overview.

              6. The relationship with teachers had a relation with a perception process of students’ instruction in every aspect like: that of a curriculum, teaching management, organizing activities, using the teaching media, a measurement and evaluation  and in an overview.

              Thus, Psychological and Psycho-social factors had a conceptual Process of students’ instruction in a significant level of statistics 0.01 and 0.05 . Having considered a division of pair of Psychological and Psycho-social factors, we could explain as follows: Factors to self – confidence, Motivation for achievement, Future Orientation, relationship with friends, relationship with the family, relationship with teachers, were found that  they had a relation with a perception process of students on instruction in every part, such as curriculum, teaching management, organizing activities, using the teaching media, a measurement and evaluation.
