Abstract

 This thesis entitled ‘The way of wealth management in Buddhism’ has three objectives: 1) to study the property in Buddhism, 2)  to study Dharma principles related to wealth management in Buddhism, and 3) to study the way of wealth management in Buddhism. This is a qualitative research. In this research, there are two kinds of property in Buddhism, animate and inanimate property. This thesis focuses on inanimate property only. The principles  of Dharma related to wealth management in Buddhism consist of the principle of Dharma related to seeking the property, the principle of Dharma related to keeping  the property and the principle of Dharma related to using the property. 

It should be based on the principles of middle way which is neither too slack nor forced named “The noble eightfold path”. The way of wealth management in Buddhism contains of 3 main factors:  seeking the property, keeping
 the property and using the property.  
The principle is doing these factors following with the temporal objective or present benefit (Ditthadhammikattha). 
This is related to diligence in seeking property,  appropriate saving, association with good friends and living economically. 
 The purpose is to gain the happiness in human being in order to individually and publicly achieve the goal of human life.
