Abstract

Abstract

This thematic paper is of 3 objectives: 1) to study strengthening of relations between employer and employees in accordance with principles of the Disā 6, 2) to study strengthening of relations between employer and employees of Yuwakorn Supapan Limited, Partnership and 3) to study the strengthening of relations between employer and employees of Yuwakorn Supapan Limited, Partnership according to the Disā 6, which its tool is a Qualitative research.

From the research, it is found the following issues:

         1) The strengthening of relations between employer and employees is in form or principles of interaction, promoting and supporting, and performing mutual duties for learning, understanding and living together peacefully; this is harmonized with the principles of ‘Disā’, the Six Directions, guiding employers to support their employees in five ways, such as giving them proper job responsibilities, giving them food and wages, taking care of them when they are in sickness, giving them food with different taste and giving them holidays occasionally; meanwhile, employees should reciprocate their employers in five ways of getting up to work before employers, finishing work after employers, getting only what is given by the employers, improving job performance and admiring employers to others.

 2) Yuwakorn Supapan Limited, Partnership has been operating business as a building-contractor which is successful as of coordination between its employer and employees; the reason behind this is because of the Partnership sees to its employees’ importance as an inseparable part of employer that everyone is important, unlike separate status; hence, rules and regulations are followed with legal welfare for employees while the employer takes care of them at times of their sickness, throws them parties and gives them holiday in proper occasions.

3) The practical way between the employer and employees of the Partnership is harmonized with Buddhist principles in that the Partnership has emphasized on benefit sharing, educational support, health and security care and support, including helps in cases of sickness, accident, retirement and inability. For this reason, the employer and employees have always been able to work together peacefully.
