         This thesis has objectively purposed to study the processes of learning in developing morality as offered in Buddhism, to study the problems of moral development processes of the students in Hadphaeng subdistrict, Srisongkhram district, Nakhornphanom province as well as to apply the Buddhist principles in the learning processes to develop the student’s morality in Hadphaeng subdistrict, Srisongkhram district, Nakhornphanom province. The quanlitative research has been carried out for the present study in accordance with the selection of the data from Tripitaka- the Buddhist scriptures, the Buddhist textbooks, academic papers, research papers as well as collecting the data from the area under consideration along with the analysis of the data collected for the present research.     

 

 

               

 

         The results of research as follows;

         The development of the student’s morality essentially needed to generate the four predominant aspects, for instance, physical development, moral development, emotional development and wisdom development which called the Four Cultivations. The student’s morality has been well produced by applying the Buddhist principle, for example, the Threefold Trainings- morality, concentration and wisdom and the Noble Eightfold Path into the moral developing processes for the interest of the students in learning and understanding the ways of living with the right and precious directions which relating directly to the community and the effectiveness in developing of the country.

 

         All human beings, therefore, peculiarly needed to learn for insight understanding and right thought by following the Threefold Trainings viz. morality, concentration and wisdom as the principles in moral developing processes in concrete terms towards Buddhism in order to developing the body, mind and wisdom that leading doers to the right conducts, moralist as well as observing the law, tradition and culture of the particular area in accordance with following the rules or precepts. On the other hand, mental development has formulated the compassion and generosity to human beings as well as protecting the exploitation that caused the diversity, controverting and the disjunction of the group, community and society. Further, wisdom development has produced the perfect consummation in oneself, the other and common society as well as making the effectiveness in development in which cultivating the peacefulness into the family, community and common society for becoming the sustainably developing society. 

 

 

               

 

          It has been found that the Threefold Trainings- morality, concentration and wisdom were the principles in developing the morality for students. The development processes must be formed simultaneously with the four aspects called the Four Cultivations involving the physical training, moral training, emotional training and wisdom training by integrating and applying the Threefold Training and the process of development as stated in the Four Cultivations with the eight groups of learning in order for gaining the perfect development in both knowledge and ethics that supported the cultivation of moral and ethics to the students in peaceful way called the trained man who was developed by the Four Cultivations.
