Abstract

Abstract

          The thesis title on “The Result of Holistic Health care based on Buddhist Nutrition for chronic disease Patients at Thai tradition medicine club of Wat BangKang, Muang Districe Nonthaburi Province”is used for a mutual combination of quasi – experience and qualitative studies.  The main objectives of this study are like : 1.) to study in the design on the activity set of the Buddhist nutrition holistic health care program for the chronic disease pattern at Thai traditional medicine club. 2.) to study the result  of the activity set of the buddhist nutrition holistic health care program for the chronic disease patients  at Thai traditional Medicine Club. 3.) to apply the Holistic Health care based on Buddhist Nutrition for the chronic disease patients  at Thai traditional Medicine Club.  

          This research is an experimental one by depending the random sample of citizens comprised  of the patients and the  members of  traditional medicine club.Wat Bang-Krang, Muang District Nonthaburi  province in 2014. All of than are  37 persons Whose 20 ones are chosen for experiment. The equipments for research are the questionnaires divided into four parts, namely  the basic information is the kind of evaluation in a set of morality activity with 15 questions, and set of meditation activity with 15 questions, the wisdom activity with 15 questions, and the kind of interviewing the chronic disease patients about a mental and bodily feeling according  to the Holistic Health care based on Buddhist Nutrition, which the researcher produced by depending on a collection 0f these informations.  form the textbook, papers and thesises related  to the principle of Buddhist nutrition.

The statistics used for the data analysis depends a explanation by using percentage, mean and a standard deviation to point out a general data and reference statistics, a comparative analysis for a result of experiment in the use of the activity set for developing the patient’s mind and according to the way of Buddhism before and after using the set of activity by reference-paired T-test.

Result of Research

The comparison of mean score before and after an experiment of using the set of morality activity is found that there is a realization of the herbal food as the first grade. To behavior about irregular poses in holding back one’s urine and excrement is making sickness as the second grade. While a state of bad temper brings about sickness easily us the third grade.  A set of meditation in walking slow originates more meditation as the first grade. To fix walking makes walking slow as the second grade and chanting brings about a balance of a physical structure as the third grade. To wisdom the expansion of loving-kindness gives rise to happiness, chanting causes recreation as the first grade. To have a mindfulness in considering letters and meanings is regarded the second grade. To understand a cause of sickness  which comes from the insufficiency is regarded as the third grade and it is found that all  three sets of activities have higher mean score.  

To interview about the The Result of Holistic Health care based on Buddhist Nutrition for chronic disease Patients at Thai tradition medicine club of Wat BangKang, Muang Districe Nonthaburi Province depends on the observation of the patients’ behavior at their face, eyesight, perception. and complexion. It is found that most of the patients after the have shared the activities have better bodily action, calm mind and emotion, meditation and understand the natural reality of impermanence, suffering and selflessness. To the social feeling, participation in the activities, to give support to the society and to dwell with their family and the society are satisfactorily batter.
