Abstract

 This research title has three main objectives, 1) to study the status of learning and teaching of teachers at Phrapariyattidhamma Pali section ,Yannawa, Sathon Bangkorleam District Bangkok. 2) to compare of learning and teaching of teachers at Phrapariyattidhamma Pali section ,Yannawa ,Sathon Bangkorleam District Bangkok 3) to study the problems and suggest of teaching and learning process at Phrapariyattidhamma Pali in six areas to these.

            Research Methodology is quantitive Method. The samples group consisted of 108 students. The research tool was a questionnaire and  data were analyzed by percentage, the mean and standard deviation, the t-test and F-test.

 

            The research  found that as follows :

            1 Students opinion regarding the teaching and learning of teacher at the overall was high level. There were composed  from the most to the least as follows :1. Learning and teaching.                       2. Course. 3. Measurement and evaluation. 4 . Environmental education 5. Teaching and learning activities  and 6. The medium of instruction respectively

            2. The comparison of students' opinions on the learning and teaching of teachers by  status, age, year ,highest education , highest Degree Pali and domicile as a whole were not differ.

            3. Students opinion regarding the problems and the way to develop  the teaching and learning of teachers as follows : 1) Curriculum were too old and it was difficult to understand and the content was out-dated and not Suitable for students today , 2) The teaching and learning process of teachers  were lack  of deep understanding and  integrating  making the students stressed   3) Instructional media were lack of up-to-date resources. 4) The teaching and learning activities  were not regarding  the different learning styles of the students.  5) The teaching and learning environments were not conductive  to learning and teaching 6) The assessment and reporting system  were unclear.

            4.The way to improve the teaching and learning process in Phrapariyattidhamma Pali section ,Yannawa ,Sathon Bangkorleam District Bangkok were to: 1) The course should be developed  programs to meet the needs of society. 2) The teaching and learning process needs to be improved by the allocation of sufficient finances. 3) Instructional media needs to be improved by the acquisition of up-to-date technology, such as computers. 4) Teaching and learning activities need to be interesting and relevant in order to encourage students to learn. 5) The teaching and learning environment should be involved in teaching 6) The assessment and reporting system needs to be improved by teachers holding regular meetings to discuss attainment and look for ways to make improvements.
