Abstract

 

ABSTRACT

 

              The objectives of this thesis were 1) to study academic administration of the administrators and teachers of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, general education division in khon kaen municipal area, 2) to study the method and further suggestions to the academic administration of the administrators and teachers of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, general education division in the Khon kaen municipal area. The population in this study was totally 109 persons i.e. administrators, assistant administrators, permanent teachers, and visiting teachers in 5 schools. The research instruments applied in this study were questionnaire in 5 scales. The statistics applied in this was Frequency, Means, and Standard Deviation (S.D.). The method and suggestions were analyzed with Frequency and the content analyzed method.

               The result of the study found that :

               1) The academic administration of the administrators and teachers at Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, general education division in the Khon Kaen municipal area, generally resulted in the middle level ; while examining in each aspect mostly resulted in middle level namely, the development of the curriculum, learning activities, educational assessment and grade transfer, research and learning development, teaching material, technology, educational counseling, internal quality assurance system, and co-operative management in academic development ;

              2) The method and further suggestions about the academic administration made by the administrators and teachers at the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, general education division in the Khon Kaen municipal area, showed the detail that there should organize the training regarding curriculum development, teaching plans, effective principles and rules in educational assessment, supporting the teachers to do research, the formed target of the educational institution according to the proper standard and quality assurance system, The given opportunities  for all students to be trained continuously in the academic aspects which caused great benefits of developing the Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, general education division and making this ecclesiastical institution more educational standard and efficiency.
