ABSTRACT

                             The research entitled “The Role of Propagating Buddhadammaof Phradhammathassanatorn (ThongsukSuthasso)has three main objectives are;    (1) To analizing study Propagating Buddhadammaof Phradhammathassanatorn (ThongsukSuthasso)(2) To study the Role of Propagating Buddhadammaof Phradhammathassanatorn (ThongsukSuthasso)(3) To study the model and approach of Propagating Buddhadammaof Phradhammathassanatorn (ThongsukSuthasso) In this study is a quanlitative research, field study from greater denomination by Documentary Research and In depth interview with the Key Information total 10 person Content Analysis Technique The results of this reseach had Conclussion and Suggestions as fellowing are:.

The findings of this research are as follows :

     1. The result of analyzing the Buddhist propagation can be said that the Lord Buddha had ways in propagating Buddhism depending on contingencies: appropriateness, situations, factors or cases, his intellect, and readiness of listeners. Besides, the ways often used and applied in propagating Buddhism by him were: (1) conversation which he questioned his colloquists for the understanding of Dhamma, (2) explanation which always was used in important convocation for preaching his disciples, and (3) answering questions which was used whenever any person who had questions or doubt.

              2.The Role of Propagating Buddhadammaof Phradhammathassanatorn (ThongsukSuthasso)to classified into two type as belows:

                   1) Propagating in the temple such as Dhamma Sermon for the people in the Dhammassawana day and the important of Buddhist days.

                             2) Propagating outside of the temple: to be theDhammaPropagating in various place out of the temple people in the Dhammassawana day and efficiency by Dhammatalk and Dhamma presentation fot bureaucracy, company and Department store or private sactor in the various occation. There for to subport the monks in the temple to be propagation monk as well as.

              3. To study the model and approach of Propagating Buddhadammaof Phradhammathassanatorn (ThongsukSuthasso) had two types as fellowings;     

                   1) The model of Propagating Buddhadamma have two method are: (1) Personnel Media as Dhamma sermon, Dhamma presentation and to obedience.(2) Mass Communication are Broadcasting, newspaper, Poet and Article.

          2) The approach of propagating Dharma. As for the Dharma propagation approach by PhraDharmadasanadhorn (ThongsukSudasso), he applied the principle  and  method of the so-called ‘integration propagation’ as explained by PhraDharmakosacaraya (PrayoonDhammacitto), according to whom, there are two types of Buddhism propagation. They  are  1) progressive propagation and  2)  with standing   propagation. As regards the former, the  propagation is based on the necessity of a particular period. The Buddhist monk in the past made the progressive   propagation by acting as a teacher teaching children and youths. Wat or monastery in the past was both a school and an aid centre. These jobs or works are one and the same. That is to say, Buddhism  propagation such as preaching, lecture, preparing Buddhist teaching media, welfare study work such as teaching Buddhism in a school, teaching Dharma study course, scholarship. Public welfare work such as water source development, helping a disaster victim with food and clothes. As for the latter, the with standing approach such as Dharma preaching, Dharma lecture, Dharma training as practiced by the monks in monasteries and so forth.  PhraDharmadasanadhorn succeeds in applying the Dharma propagation and is publicly accepted.
