Based on the research results, researcher has concluded and recommended the objectives of the research as follows:

1.   To study the Niramisa-Sukha  according  to the viewpoints in  Theravada Buddhist philosophy.

2.    To study the Sukha  according to the viewpoints of the Non -Hedonism of western intellectualism

3.    To comparatively study Niramisa- Sukha according to the viewpoints  in Theravada Buddhist  philosophy with  happiness according to the viewpoints of   Non-Hedonism western intellectualism.

From the research study, it is found that the Theravada Buddhist philosophy gives the meaning of Niramisa-Sukha as the happiness which does not depend on anything. It is the happiness which one can build up by oneself. It is also of the freedom from the state of the characteristics which are Jhanasukha and Nibbanasukha.The Non-Hedonism Western Intellectualism advocates mental happiness.

For  the Non-Hedonism through cognitivism is just a physical happiness that is not at the happiest level of life. To pursue the comfort or happiness for the physical part is still in a low quality, but in the mental part it is the most important thing which should be developed. With the right use of wisdom in the pursuit of ennobling virtue is in need of discovering the moral truth and the intellectual virtue. The human acts in accordance with ennobling virtue, morality and intellectual virtue always lead to the happiness of life, as the human life would be happy at the present time because of good actions. Therefore, the life with happiness must be creative and active in a reasonable way of action. Generally, the nature of human being is aiming at the goal of life focusing on the best point of acts (Supreme Good) for those who are endowed with development and fully mental training in oneself (Self-Sufficiency), which is base on the middle way of daily life practices appropriately.

From a comparison of Niramisa-Sukha according to the viewpoints of the Theravada Buddhist philosophy with the happiness in the viewpoint of Non-Hedonism western intellectualism, it is found that  Niramisa-Sukha and the happiness in the point of  Non-Hedonism intellectualism are regarded as the happiness arising from doing good deed which arises from wisdom giving happiness to mind. On the contrary, Niramisa-Sukha in Theravada Buddhist Philosophy arises from the practice of doctrinal Truth in reality without depending on the material and also arises from the practice of the Buddha’s Teaching. When the people learn,know and follow the Buddha’s teaching, they receive the results of their practices, that is, they attain Nibbana-Sukha. For the happiness according to the view of the  Non-Hedonism in intellectualism it arises from the reasonable thought, the finding of  the reasonable things which are only the truth, but people do not practices as they are merely taught  to know the essence of the  truth.
