The research entitled “Happiness of students of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Ayutthaya” aims to study the Happiness of students of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Ayutthaya, and the factors related to the happiness of the students. The samples of this study were 400 students of all classes who are currently studying at the University. The research tool was the questionnaires of 5-level rating scales. The percentages (%), mean ( ) standard duration (S.D.) and Chi-square test were statistics used to analyze the data
It was found that
1) The students, on the whole, were happy at the moderate level ( = 3.35, S.D. = 0.420) and when considering for each item, it was found that the students were happy at high level for 7 aspects, namely the aspects of support from their families, problem-facing skills, valuablelife-experiences, good feeling, support from their friends, expectation and expected success, and the aspect of the support from the Sangha in temples. They were happy at the moderate level for 3 aspects, namely emotional self-control, health perception and relationship with others, and they were happy at the low level for one aspect : negative happy feeling
2) The Factors relating to happiness of the students consisted of the following : monetary situation, expense source, illness, illness worry, the illness of monks in the temples and the aspect of participation in co-curriculum activities. |
