Abstract

                    The study on "The Development of Academic Affairs Administration System of  Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University" is of the objectives to study the development of academic affairs administration System of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University according to the 1997 Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Act, the 2010  Report of the resutls  of educational quality assessment in the Institutions of Higher Education and Five-year Development Plan of the University.  The samples consisted of administrators, lecturers and officials which were 253 in number.  The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire of five-level scale.

               It was found that  111 of  them, out of 253 respondents, were Buddhist monks equalling to   43.88% and 142 of them were laypeople equalling to 56.12%.  As a whole, the opinions of the respondents about 4 aspects of the development of academic work administration system were found to be in the high level.  When considering for each aspect, it was also found that all aspects including education, research, students and human resources were in the high level with the mean values of 3.52, 3.54, 3.66 and 3.84 respectively.
